| Unit | A share of the scheme. Units are shown with up to 4 decimal places. |
| NAV per unit | Net asset value divided by the units outstanding. |
| Valuation | A recorded NAV, with its assets and liabilities. |
| Maker | The person who records a transaction. |
| Checker | The person who approves it. A maker cannot approve their own work. |
| MFA | Multi-factor authentication. Some money actions need it. You may be asked to sign in again to approve. |
| WHT | Withholding tax. It is taken from dividends and, if set, from redemptions. |
| Pay-by date | The last day to pay a redemption. It is 7 working days after the request. |
| Escalation | A stalled decision that DFFMS passes up to a more senior administrator. |
| Custodian collection account | The bank account members pay into. It is shown to members under "How to contribute". |
